365 Cards: Day 167

My card for 365 Cards: day-167-vintage-plus-red 


Vintage with red I knew right away I wanted to use one of my Tim Holtz masks.  My little ones were too little so I used my HUGE one and just used part of it for the card.  love how that turned out.  then I knew I wanted to make it Christmasy and use my tag stamp that reads "Sending Christmas Greetings"  but I wanted to make sure my background red was the main colour and the main focus so this is what I came up with:

Decided to back track some on the card challenges to get some more inspiration since I've been so out of the loop lately.  This is what I made for day-165-30-minutes-or-less

Finally able to get back in to card making!  home with no visitors, not having to house sit, not out and about every day... so yay!  back to making cards again!  and now that I have my diecut machine I'm on a roll!  


got two different cards made but I only have one on my computer.  that one is for today's day-166-super-sketchy-sunday challenge!  and here she is!

I know my colour is a bit off... the background is white not the blueish grey colour... didn't have good enough lighting for the photo.  sorry... but you get the idea!  woot for diecut letters/words!


after making this card I got very mad at my desk being such a horrible mess and two hours later my desk and my shelves next to it are all straightened up at last!  good!  that's been needing done for the last two months!  I can finally see where my tools are again!  


hope you liked the card!  I'm off to create more since I'm in a productive mood!

365 card: Day 141

been playing more with shaker cards and made this one to enter in Day 141 of Green Brown and Blue!

wasn't 100% happy with this though I loved the idea... I put too much tea in it though and remade it a bit different, but I forgot about the 365 days so it no longer fit that but I will share it anyways!

Love how this one turned out!  for you non-UK folk that's how you order tea over here!  Tea, white, two.  means you want a mug of tea, with milk and two sugars!  so this card is really for a tea crazy person!  hehe


right got so much more I want to show you but not tonight... I'm at work and though I'm allowed on the computer after the boy i babysit goes to sleep I would rather not use up all their net so that's it for now!  will try to do an update tomorrow of all the cards I've done and show a new project I'm working on!  hope you have a great weekend!

wow I'm getting behind on doing 365 Cards!  I'm gonna be gone all weekend too so bye until Sunday night!  Going camping with friends!

Yes I made a Mother's day Card in July!  don't judge me!  XD  it fit the colours I was useing best I though!  btw can you tell I'm obsessed with buttons here lately? lol!


I also got 128 done but the glue isn't done yet so I will show you Sunday when I get home!

More cards from 356 Cards!  gosh I love doing these!  yesterday's and today's were sketches but WOW did I got off from them!  but they started out useing the sketch and were therefore inspired from the sketch so I guess I'm ok :P

also got some wool for clouds and snow and stuff and some dollies!  already used some of this!  yay!!!!!!!!  and alot of the stuff I got half the marked price!

365 Cards: Day 123

This challenge was "So Silly"  I wanted to do something different and really fun so when I came across a saying online I knew I had to use it!  this is the front of the card:  

wanted to make it look very "new age" and have a modern look.  got this idea from a dress really! XD


then inside it says....

haha!  Love it!  should say Happy Birthday as well but I failed and forgot to print that off before my husband left (only his computer hooked up to the printer) but it's ok... think you all knew it was a birthday card!


I really love how this one turned out!  going for the battered woman's shelter's charity auction "card basket" I'm donating

365 Cards: Day 121 & 122

had a day at the beach day before yesterday so I had to do double duty yesterday on my cards!  


Day 121 was a spinner card!  I'm very happy with what I came up with!  I took too photos of it so you can see with the spinner on each side.  Inside the spinner area says Crazy About You!  

Day 122 was a card that was a bit fuzzy!  so we had some purple felt laying around so I grabbed it up to use it right away!  for some reason a purple Elephant popped into my mind right away!  but then I was trying to think of what to do with said elephant and my husband told me to do this!  such a good idea!  love how it turned out!

yay!  got in on this one faster then normal!  yay!  though I did lose my blue ribbon for a while... I flung my hand because I got burnt by the superglue and it disappeared for a half hour! ><

I had this done yesterday!  just didnt' get it uploaded!  so I'm not late really am I?

don't like the stamp I used for "JOY" next time think I will just do snow flakes or something... other then that i'm happy with it!
