Cream Cheese Chicken pasties!

Right so it's time I put a project on here... well since I don't have any of my scrap things done up I will just do one of my cooking!

since living in the UK I've found they have a strong fondness for Pasties!  (and don't you dare say it wrong!  Past-ies)  Though normal pasties are  not my normal cooking adventures I was playing around with a dough recipe I found online and made up these!

don't they look good?  inside was a cream cheese and chicken mixture!

here's how to make them!

Cream Cheese Chicken Pasty

½ of a 8oz package cream cheese
½ cup of butter
¾ cup flour

2 small or 1 large chicken breast-cooked and diced
½ of a 8oz package cream cheese
2 pinches garlic graduals
1 tablespoon chives
1 table spoon Italian mixed herbs
1 sprinkle pepper

In a medium mixing bowl mix together the cream cheese and butter until creamy.  Mix in flour until well mixed.  It will be gooey!  Sprinkle flour on dough as needed and form into a gall.  Refrigerate while you make the filling (do NOT refrigerate more then 10-15 minutes!)

Pre-heat oven to 200C (375F).  Make sure you chicken is finely diced.  In a medium bowl place your remaining ½ package of cream cheese.  Dump in all remaining ingredients but the chicken.  Using spoon mix well.  Add chicken and stir until evenly coated.

Take dough out of refrigerator and on a well floured surface flatten using floured hand until ½ - ¼ inch thick.  Cut into large circles-should make about 3.  Spoon miture on one side of each then fold over and pinch shut.  Pinch shut any breaks in the dough.  Play on slightly greased baking tray.

Cook for 15-20 minutes until dough is slightly browned.

enjoy!   If you make them and like them please let me know!
